WorkSTEPS® Testing to Match the Right People with the Right Jobs
WorkSTEPS is a standardized functional work performance test in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Equal Employment Opportunity Anti-Discrimination law. It was developed to create medically safe, legally compliant, scientific, and objective means of matching a worker’s functional capabilities with the essential functions of the job. WorkSTEPS® appropriately matches employees to the essential functions of their jobs, expedites safe and early return to work and supplies objective date that results in case resolution for disputes workers’ compensation cases.
- Instruction and assessment of body mechanics for every applicant tested
- Each candidate who participates in a post-offer test undergoes instruction on safe and proper lifting techniques
- WorkSTEPS® issues a capable/non-capable report on each applicant
