Hospice
Heartland
Hospice provides healthcare, education and support to terminally
ill clients, their families and caregivers. The program advocates
home care with pain management and symptom control, which
enables the patient to remain alert, pain free and as active
as they can within the limitations of their disease. Heartland
Hospice is JCAHO Accredited, Medicare Certified and Licensed
by the State of North Dakota. Hospice
care is provided by an interdisciplinary group consisting of:
- Hospice Medical Director
- Physicians
- Registered Nurses
- Certified Nurses' Aides
- Social Workers
- Spiritual Care Staff
- Volunteers

Assistance
Home
Assistance provides custodial care services to people in
the home setting. Home Assistance is JCAHO Accredited and
the cost of the service is based on an hourly fee with a
minimum of one hour per visit. Their services include:
- Bathing Assistance

- Light Housekeeping
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Medical Reminders

Pedicure
Services are provided by the Home Care Department at St. Joseph's. Pedicure Foot Days are held the
1st and 3rd Monday of each month at St. Joseph's Hospital
Home Care Department. If unable to come on
the scheduled day, contact Home Care Services to schedule another
appointment or to make arrangements for the service to be provided
