The St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation was established in 1983 as a charitable tax exempt corporation for the sole purpose of supporting and enhancing the health care mission of St. Joseph's. 

The mission of the Foundation is to support programs and projects related to health care through which donors can share in the philanthropic goals of the hospital.  The ultimate recipient of a gift could be a member of your family, a close friend, or a neighbor receiving care at St. Joseph's. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible and can provide considerable tax advantages. There are many gifting opportunities including donations of stock, cash, annuities, insurance proceeds, gifts-in-kind, real estate, trusts, and wills.

The Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors comprised of community leaders and area residents who annually meet to set a program of work to accomplish the goal of building the endowment fund, administering grant requests, scholarships, and carrying out projects essential to growth and development.

The Foundation sponsors two annual special events, Golf Sports Classic and the Charity Ball and also owns and operates the Harvest Home.
