Dennis Cannon
Executive Director of Facilities and Mission

Dennis has been in the business of mediator, problem-solving and relationship building for over 20 years, first as an educator in the Catholic school system, and in more recent years, in healthcare.  He serves as the leader of Facilities and Mission at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center.
              
“Faith, family and friends are the three most important things in life,” is his philosophy, one that works well for all of the different departments he leads.  He values relationships and the time he spends with family, staff and the community. Dennis just enjoys people.

He is a husband, father, and grandfather.  He keeps active in the community as a member of Rotary, serves as a board member on Dickinson Chamber of Commerce, and though he currently has no children or grandchildren in school, you can catch him at every kind of sporting event or at a variety of art performances, as they are held in the area.  He and his wife were recently selected as the Catholic Family of the month by St. Patrick’s Knights of Columbus Council. An avid golfer, Dennis tries to sneak in a round when time allows.

Supporting others is a strength of his, and he is often found in the background.  Dennis welcomes feedback from the community and looks for opportunities to improve the hospital and its services.
