Michelle Hinrichs, MHA, MSN, RN
Chief Nursing Officer/Patient Care Services/Quality
Ensuring the delivery of patient care services is continually focused on the core values of Reverence, Integrity, Excellence, and Compassion combined is what Michelle is responsible for.
Michelle assists the patient care areas with the researching and implementation of protocols, evidenced-based practices, and leading practices that encourage positive outcomes for those the hospital serves. She is an avid supporter of continued education to enhance the quality of care and promote professional and personal growth and development of health care providers.
As a native of southwest North Dakota and spending her professional career in various health care arenas, Michelle understands rural health care and its composition. She and her husband have spent their professional careers serving the community’s health care needs and improving the quality of services offered in the area.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys driving motorcycle and sports cars, scrapbooking, gardening, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends, especially her miniature daschund and maltese dogs.
Michelle believes strongly in an open door and a listening ear, and welcomes comments, concerns, and compliments about the services offered within the hospital. Please feel free to contact her with any comments.
Lastly, Michelle focuses on customer service and likes to share the following quote with other health care team members to aid in their daily interactions with others: “A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work - he is the purpose of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to serve him. - Mahatma Gandhi"
